If you're not familiar with the new Gutenberg editor, check out the official WordPress Gutenberg page to learn more.

If you've heard about the new editor, but you're not sure what you need to do about it, be sure to read our guide on preparing your blog for Gutenberg.

Tasty Pins + Gutenberg ❤️

With this update, everything you love about Tasty Pins – and more! – will be found in the new Gutenberg editor. Adding images to your content and adding Pinterest data to those images is a simple, intuitive process that we've outlined in our updated support document.

When you're using Tasty Pins with Gutenberg, you can expect the plugin to function exactly the same on the front-end – Pinterest Text will be added to the image HTML, hidden images will be included on the page, etc. It's the same plugin you know and love, just updated for the new editing experience that Gutenberg brings.

Tasty Pins + Classic ?

If you're continuing to use the Classic Editor, Tasty Pins will continue to work there as well – we’ve just added the functionality so it works on both.

Pinterest Repin ID ✨

This update also brings in a new feature – the Pinterest Repin ID!

Pinterest Repin ID field in the image block sidebar of WordPress

This field enables you to attribute pins from your website to existing pins on Pinterest. This means that your existing pins get more repins, which can potentially have a positive impact on your Pinterest performance.

Curious how to best use this Pinterest Repin ID field? We've got a blog post lined up next week to tell you all about it!

Don't Forget to Update! ⚡
