We just pushed out a minor update to Tasty Pins that includes a few fixes for bugs you may be experiencing if you've recently updated to WordPress 5.3. Here are three things you'll find in Tasty Pins version 0.9.1:
1. Pinterest fields are re-instated in WordPress 5.3 Classic Editor ✔️
WordPress version 5.3 introduced some changes to the Classic Editor that prevented the Pinterest fields from working properly when adding an image in the Classic editor. We've fixed that up with this release.
If you're using the Block editor (which we recommend!), this issue would not have applied to you.
2. Fixed missing Pinterest description fields for hidden images in WordPress 5.3 ?
For both Classic Editor and Block Editor users, the Pinterest description fields had gone missing with the latest version of WordPress. This fix re-enables those hidden image fields.
3. Add Pinterest details when adding an image from a URL ?
Allows Pinterest detail editing in the block editor when an image is inserted from a URL. If you use image services, like SmugMug, and prefer to insert your images from a url, you can now include all of your Pinterest details.
