Common Questions About Tasty Recipes Lite

Is Tasty Recipes Lite really free?

Yes — Tasty Recipes Lite is free forever. It's a separate, official plugin on WordPress.org, not a trial. There's no credit card required and no time limit.

What's the difference between Tasty Recipes Lite and Tasty Recipes Pro?

Lite covers the essentials: clean recipe cards, Google recipe schema, and basic customization. Pro adds adjustable servings, video embeds, more card designs, Instacart integration, an importer from other plugins, and priority support.

Can I upgrade later without losing my recipes?

Yes. Every recipe you publish with Tasty Recipes Lite is stored in your WordPress database. Upgrading to Tasty Recipes Pro unlocks more features without any migration or re-entering data.

Will it slow down my site?

No — Tasty Recipes Lite only loads its scripts and styles on pages that actually have a recipe card, so the rest of your blog stays fast.

Does it work with my WordPress theme?

Yes. Tasty Recipes Lite outputs clean, semantic HTML that inherits your theme's base styles, with its own color controls layered on top. It works with any properly coded WordPress theme.
