When we released Tasty Roundups 2.0, bloggers loved the new control and flexibility. But one big pain point stood in the way:

Updating older roundup posts to the new format meant doing it manually. 😩

For bloggers with hundreds (or thousands) of roundups, that was an overwhelming task. And we heard you loud and clear. So, our developers went to work, and now the update you’ve been waiting for is here!

How to use the Tasty Roundups migrator

The brand-new migrator tool makes switching your roundup posts to Tasty Roundups 2.0 fast, easy, and stress-free.

Instead of spending hours updating posts by hand, you can now:

  1. Flip the switch on every roundup post at once (yep, all of them!).
  2. Or test one at a time to make sure you love the look before going big.

How to migrate all your roundups at once

Have hundreds (or even thousands) of roundup posts? Don’t worry, you don’t need to spend your weekend copy-pasting!

  1. Update to the latest version of Tasty Roundups.
  2. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Tasty Roundups → Roundups.
  3. Click the pink Migrate Legacy Roundups button.
  4. Sit back, sip your coffee, and let the Migrator do the heavy lifting!

In just a few clicks, your entire library of roundup posts will be upgraded to the 2.0 format.

💡 Tasty Tip: If this is your very first migration, start with a single post (see below 👇). This way, you can double-check that your roundup looks exactly how you want before migrating everything at once.

Not ready to go all in? No problem! You can test things out first.

  1. Update to the latest version of Tasty Roundups.
  2. Open any post that uses the legacy Roundups block.
  3. In the right-hand sidebar, click Migrate Now.
  4. Preview the changes and see how your roundup looks with the 2.0 design.
💡 Tasty Tip: Migrating one post is the perfect way to test the waters. Use this to check your design, make any tweaks, and feel confident before upgrading your entire library.
