Losing track of a recipe is the one of fastest ways to lose your blogging flow.

You sit down to edit your ingredients section or give a seasonal post some love, but ten clicks later you're still not where you need to be. That's way too much work for something that should be simple.

So we built Recipe Explorer, our sweetest treat yet for Tasty Recipes! 🍭

Your whole recipe collection is now right inside Tasty Recipes. You can find, create, and edit a recipe in seconds, whether you're ready to publish or saving it for later. It's organization, speed, and peace of mind all in one tidy place.

What is Recipe Explorer?

Recipe Explorer is your new home for every recipe you have. It shows them all together in one easy-to-read list so you can find what you need right away.

With Recipe Explorer, you can:

  • See all your recipes with their title, star rating, the post they're in, and the last time you updated them.
  • Search by name or sort by things like rating, cuisine, cooking method, category, or author.
  • Open a recipe card and make changes without digging through a post.
  • Add new recipes now and drop them into posts later.
  • Delete multiple old or extra recipes all at once to keep things tidy. (Tasty Recipes paid feature only)

It's simple, quick, and helps you spend more time cooking up ideas instead of clicking around WordPress.

Your recipe collection, but make it organized

Before Recipe Explorer, there was no way to view all your Tasty Recipes recipe cards in one place.

If you wanted to find a recipe, you had to head into your WordPress “All Posts” list, search for the post you thought it was in, click to open it… and just hope it was the right one. If it wasn’t, you had to start all over again.

Now, you can open Recipe Explorer and instantly see your whole recipe collection in one clean view.

Recipe Explorer FAQs

Do I need both Tasty Recipes Lite and Tasty Recipes installed?
Yep! Recipe Explorer and a few other essentials now live in Tasty Recipes Lite. Tasty Recipes gives you the advanced tools, while Lite handles the basics. And, in most cases, Lite will auto-install itself. If it didn't, you'll see a quick prompt to add it. Please do that so everything works smoothly.
Do I need to update anything to use Recipe Explorer?
Just make sure you are on the latest version of Tasty Recipes. After you update, you will see a new “Recipes” tab in your Tasty Recipes dashboard. That is where Recipe Explorer lives. No extra setup needed!
Will Recipe Explorer change how I add recipes to posts?
Only in the best way. You can still add recipes from the post editor like always. Now you can also create and embed recipes right from Recipe Explorer. It is faster and makes working in batches easy.
Can I create recipes without publishing a post right away?
Yes. Start with a title today and come back later to add photos, stories, personal touches, and tips before you publish. It is an easy way to save ideas while they are fresh without slowing down your workflow.
What is the difference between Recipe Explore for Tasty Recipes Lite and Tasty Recipes?
Both give you the same Recipe Explorer to see all your recipes, search, filter, and edit in seconds. Tasty Recipes adds one handy extra: bulk delete for quick cleanups.
