If you've been blogging for a while, you probably look back at older posts and realize how much you've learned since then.

Your site looks better, and your content has likely grown beyond recipes, too. Maybe you share step-by-step DIY projects alongside your food content (or vice versa).

We wanted your structured content to reflect that growth.

With Tasty Recipes 4.0, we rebuilt our templates from the ground up and added dedicated How-To cards for instructional content. Whether you're sharing an easy dinner or a step-by-step craft or DIY project, the presentation matches the care behind it.

To our current users, don't worry! Your current recipe cards stay the same unless you choose to switch.

How-To Cards with Schema Markup (New!)

Creating more than recipes? Up until now, tutorials, guides, and step-by-step walkthroughs were tricky to present in a structured card with the right schema markup behind it.

How-To cards fix that. They’re specifically for instructional content like:

  • DIY and craft tutorials
  • Candle and soap making
  • Homemade skincare (lotions, butters, creams)
  • Beauty and wellness routines
  • Garden and plant care guides

A real example of a How-To Card

How do How-To Cards work?

They use HowTo schema markup, which simply means search engines understand what type of content you’re sharing.

Your tutorials are recognized as tutorials. Your recipes are recognized as recipes.

How to use How-To Cards with Tasty Recipes
